Antwerp Belgium:

Antwerp is one of the largest Cities in Belgium and the administrative Capital of the Province of Antwerp. The City is vital to the Country’s economy playing an important role in the lucrative diamond trade which has earned it the unofficial title as the diamond capital of Europe. It is also home to one of the largest and busiest ports in Europe. The City has a population of approximately 460,000 people. Antwerp’s rich history and culture are on display at many of its impressive buildings and museums.

Antwerp has a thriving tourism industry; the city has a large number of tourist attractions and recreational activities which added to its pleasant character make it a hospitable destination. Places to visit include;

The Antwerp Zoo: about 160 years old, this is one of the oldest Zoos in the world. It is situated next to the City’s Central Station and features a large collection of wildlife from different parts of the world.

Aquatopia: this is a fairly new aquarium which features an remarkable display of marine flora and fauna.
