Skiing and snowboarding
in Austria:
Austria is one of the leading Skiing and Winter
Sporting Countries in Europe. The State of Tyrol is one of
the Country’s Skiing domains. The City of Innsbruck hosted
the Winter Olympics in 1964 and 1976 and also the 1984 and

are more challenging for the experienced skier. Austria’s
Ski resorts host a number of skiing and snowboarding competitions
each year.
