The
Capital City of Slovakia, Bratislava is situated within a region
of the same name. The city is located along the banks of the Danube
River in the southwest of the Country. Bratislava is an historical
city said to have been founded prior to the 10th Century as a permanent
settlement. The City is one of the feature attractions for visitors

historic buildings, theatres and museums.

The Bratislava Castle: situated
on a secluded rocky hill overlooking the City, the Bratislava
Castle is one of the feature attractions for visitors to
the City. The Castle complex’s construction began in the
13th Century and within it you will find a number of interesting
buildings such as the Crown Tower, churches and also the
Slovak National Museum.
Other interesting sights in the City are; the
old town area which features; the Museum of Wine Production,
Mirbach Palace and Primate’s Palace.
