Delft:
The
Dutch City of Delft was established in the early 12th Century and
was in following centuries one of the main urban centers of the
Netherlands Kingdom.
The City is situated in the province of South
Holland and has a population of 96,370 people. Delft is popular
for its ceramic products and chinaware. The City has a number
of art and craft galleries and ceramic houses where you can
find a
variety of unique handmade items.
Other places to visit in Delft are its museums and historic
landmarks which include; the remains of the old town hall, the
armamentarium, the gates of the old city walls, Oude Kerk (Old
Church), Nieuwe Kerk (New Church).
