There
are a number of good hotels in the Faroes, many of them in Torshavn.
Hotels here provide quality accommodation though other options
such as holiday cottages, camping sites and private homes can be
found and are important in areas where there are no hotels.
Best Western Foroyar: situated about 3 km from the Capital Torshavn,
the Best Western is one of the leading establishments in the
Faroes. The hotel has 108 rooms many of which provide excellent
views of the harbor.
Hotel Torshavn: this is a very decent hotel situated at the
Torshavn harbor. It features 43 rooms, a good restaurant and
business conferencing facilities.
The Hafnia Hotel: another of the Island’s main hotels,
the Hafnia is situated in the Torshavn City Centre and has
56 rooms, bar, restaurant and meeting rooms.
