Transport in the Faroe Islands:

For its difficult terrain and small island sizes, the transport network in the Faroes Islands is considerably developed. There are good paved roads within the larger islands and ferry services provide the main link between islands. Important harbors are found at; Torshavn, Klaksvik, Tvoroyri, Runavik and Fuglafjorour. The city of Torshavn has a reliable public bus transport network. There is no railway line on any of the islands and some of the smaller islands can easily be covered on foot.

Airports:

The Vagar International Airport:

The Vagar airport is a fairly small airport with one main terminal building and is the main airport of the Faroes catering for international flights to and from the island of Vagar. The airport also has a helipad for helicopter flights to and from some of the islands. An airport run shuttle service and public buses provide transport into Vagar town. Taxis are also available.
