France

Council. The Country is bordered to its south by Spain and to the

United Kingdom via a tunnel across the English Channel. As a member

Capital Paris is regarded as one of the fashion capitals of the
world.

Paris is the Capital of France and a major world city. The City
has been existence and the centre for French Civilization and
government since the middle ages. Paris was the scene of the
French revolution and Bastille Day which is a French National
holiday marking the beginning of the revolution, is celebrated
in the City annually on July 14th.
Airports in France:
Charles de Gaulle International Airport:
Charles de Gaulle is the main international gateway to France
and one of the busiest airports in Europe only second to Heathrow
in London. The airport is a modern aviation facility and has
three passenger terminals. It is the main hub of the Country’s
national airline Air France. The airport is located about 24
kms from the Paris City Centre.
The Orly International Airport:
The second of Paris’s airports, Orly was opened in 1932
and is one of the Country’s principal international airports
with regular scheduled flights to a number of international destinations.
