The
Islands of Greece are popular holiday destinations. Friendly weather

Mykonos:
Probably the most popular of the Greek Islands, Mykonos is famed
for its holiday beachside resorts, pristine beaches with golden

Santorini:
Santorini is one of a group of Islands in the Aegean Sea. The
Island became a part of Greece in 1912. Santorini was once a

The largest in the Dodecanese group of Islands, Rhodes is another
of Greece’s islands and became a part of the Country
in 1947. The Island has a population of about 130,000 most
of which
is concentrated in the small City of Rhodes.
Crete:
Made famous through history and a number of Greek mythologies,
Crete is the largest of the Greek Islands covering an area of
8,336 square km. The island is situated on the Sea of Crete and
is home to an estimated population of 620,000. Inland, the island
has a very uneven terrain featuring mountain ranges.
Corfu:
The Island of Corfu experiences friendly weather conditions
at most times of the year and coupled with its beaches, resorts
and natural beauty, makes it one of the most visited of the Greek
Islands.
Paros:
A popular holiday destination, the Island of Paros is located
in the Aegean Sea and is part of the Cyclades group of islands.
Ios Island:
Classified in the Cyclades Group of Islands, Ios is a Greek
Island on the Aegean Sea.
Kos Island:
Part of the Dodecanese Group of Islands, Kos is another of Greece’s
popular holiday islands. The island has a strong tourism economy.
Kefalonia:
Kefalonia is a Greek Island situated in the Ionian Sea. The
island is the largest of the Ionian Group of Islands.
Zakynthos:
Zakynthos is an Island on the Ionian Sea and the third largest
of the Ionian Islands with an area of 406 square km.
Hydra:
Hydra is grouped as one of the Saronic Islands together with
Aegina, Poros and Spetses. The islands are so named because they
are situated in the Saronic Gulf
