Iceland Currency:
The
Icelandic Krona is the official currency of Iceland. The title
is abbreviated as ISK. The currency is similar to the Danish, Swedish
and Norwegian currencies also referred to as Krona. The ISK is
used in normal transactions though other international currencies
such as the US dollar and the Euro are accepted by some establishments.
Foreign exchange is handled by banks and foreign exchange bureaus.
Money can be exchanged on arrival at the Keflavik International
Airport.

The Icelandic Krona has trades steadily against major international
currencies. Local media and banks display exchange rates against
major currencies. Distribution and value of the currency is regulated
by the Central Bank of Iceland.
At the time of writing, 1 American Dollar was equivalent to 72.84
Krona, 1 British Pound is equivalent to 136.27995 Krona and 93.09
for the Euro.
