Flights to Istanbul:
As
one of the leading air destinations in Europe, there are a number
of airlines that offer regular scheduled flights to Istanbul. The
City is served by two international airports; the Sabiha Gokcen
and Ataturk Airports.
At present, the Ataturk Airport is the busiest
of the two and is the main hub for local airline; Turkish Airlines.
Ataturk is situated about 16 km from the City center and is
so named after the founder of the present day Turkish Republic.
Turkish Airlines: the airline operates a number of scheduled
flights to and from Istanbul linking the City to a host of international
destinations in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America.
Other airlines offering scheduled flights to Istanbul include;
British Airways, Delta Air Lines, EgyptAir, El Al, Kenya Airways,
Aeroflot, Air Algerie, Alitalia, KLM, Lufthansa, Lithuanian Airlines,
Iberia, Onur Air, Pakistan International, Singapore Airlines,
Emirates.
