Legoland:

A heaven for children and the young at heart, Legoland is a major tourism attraction for visitors to Denmark. The park is the oldest of the Legoland parks being opened in 1968 and is completely constructed using Lego. Other parks can be found at Windsor in England, California USA, and Gunzburg in Germany. The park is situated in the municipality of Billund and can be reached by road from Copenhagen. An easier alternative is flying to the Billund Airport which caters for domestic and international flights; then taking a shorter bus ride or driving to the park.

Legoland Attractions:

The park is divided into the eight different worlds of; DUPLO Land, Miniland, Imagination Zone, LEGOREDO town, Pirate Land, LEGO City, Knights Kingdom and Adventure Land. These worlds feature interesting activities for children, rides, restaurants and souvenir shops

Accommodation at the Park:

Hotel Legoland located within the park provides a good accommodation option for visitors to the park. The Legoland village is a hostel situated about 500 meters from the park.

Opening hours vary at different days and months of the year. You can contact the park by calling: 45 7533 1333. For further information on the park you can visit the official Legoland Website at: http://www.legoland.dk/
