Luxembourg
is home to a number of Castles built since the Country’s
inception in 963. These castles are one of the main tourist attractions
for visitors to the Country and are a reminder of Luxembourg’s
rich history and culture. Some are intact while others have not
survived the tests of time and are in ruins. Most castles in the
Country are open to the public for visits though some are privately
owned and do not allow visitors or require prior permission.
