Luxembourg
City is the Capital of the Grand Duchy and the largest City in
the Country with a population of 76,700 residents. The City is
the administrative and commerce centre and is home to the Country’s
thriving banking industry. The Luxembourg-Findel International
Airport which is the Country’s sole international airport
is situated a mere five kilometers from the City Centre.

to the Country stay here venturing into the Countryside for day
excursions. There is also a selection of restaurants serving
the best in local cuisine, cocktail bars, pubs, cinemas and theatres.

This clean and beautiful City has a host of attractions for
visitors. The City is home to the Grand Duchy Palace a magnificent
building that is the official residence of the Grand Duke.
The
City’s historic old town was declared a world heritage
site by UNESCO in 1994 and has an impressive old fort that is
integral to the history of Luxembourg’s founding. The City
has a number of museums including; the National Museum of Natural
History, the Museum of the History of the City of Luxembourg,
the Post and Telecommunication Museum and Casino Luxembourg.
