Also
known as the Barajas Airport, the Madrid airport is one of Spain
and Europe’s busiest airports. The airport is also distinguished
as the largest airport in the world with four terminals; the fourth
being opened in 2006. The Madrid airport has in the 21st Century
experienced steady growth and in the last five years it has served
more than 30 million passengers annually.
