Travel To Monaco:
Monaco
has no airports of its own. The principality has one heliport at
Fontvieille with a helicopter service which conducts transfers
mainly from the Nice Airport in France. Visitors to the Country
usually fly to Nice then relocate by road using an airport shuttle
service running into Monaco.
The Nice Airport:
The Nice Airport is another of France’s key international
airports. The airport is about 5 km from the Nice City Centre
and has two passenger terminals with regular scheduled flights
running from a number of European Cities. Major airlines operating
here are; EasyJet, Air France, Lufthansa and Virgin Express.
Train Services: There is a rail link from France into Monaco
terminating at the Monte Carlo Station. The passenger train
service is operated by a French Company.
The Port of Fontvieille is now a major destination for a number
of cruise ships on the Mediterranean.
